Privacy Policy

Your images

• Free single-image tools: processed in memory only. Images are held in server memory just long enough to produce a result, then discarded. They are not saved to disk or any database.
• Batch processing: stored for up to 24 hours. When you use batch processing with an account, your uploaded images and the results are stored temporarily in cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) so they can be processed and downloaded. They are deleted automatically within 24 hours.
• Never used for training. Your images are never used to train AI models.
• No human review. No one at MiaoCut looks at your images.

Account information (only if you create an account)

• Email address and sign-in method (email link or Google). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information you agree to share with us.
• Credit balance and history, including credits granted, purchased, spent and refunded.
• Batch job records, such as the number of images, status and timestamps. These records do not contain your images.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. We keep order records (credit pack, amount, currency, Stripe reference and date) for accounting, tax and fraud-prevention purposes.

Other information we process

• IP address. Used to enforce fair-use rate limits and prevent abuse, for example limiting how many new accounts receive sign-up credits from one network. Short-lived counters keyed by IP address are deleted automatically within 2 days. It is not used to build a profile of you.
• Anonymous usage analytics. We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Umami) that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. It records aggregate events like page views and which tool was used.
• Feedback and waitlist. If you send feedback or join a waitlist, we store your message and, if provided, your email address, so we can respond or notify you when a feature launches.

Cookies and local storage

MiaoCut does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser stores small preferences locally (such as your chosen language or quality mode). If you sign in, your browser also stores a sign-in session so you stay logged in. This data stays on your device.

Service providers

We rely on the following providers to run the service. They process data on our behalf only to deliver it: Cloudflare (website, gateway and temporary file storage), Hugging Face (free image processing), Supabase (accounts and credit records), Stripe (payments), Beam and Modal (GPU processing for batch jobs), Google (optional sign-in) and Umami (analytics). We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Your choices

You can use the free tools without an account. If you have an account, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data by emailing [email protected]. When we delete an account, we keep only the order records we are required to retain for accounting and tax purposes.

Children

MiaoCut is a general-purpose image tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
