Terms of Use

Acceptable use

• Only upload images you own or have the right to use.
• Do not use the service for unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
• Do not attempt to overload, scrape, or circumvent the fair-use rate limits, or otherwise disrupt the service.

Accounts

You need an account to use batch processing. Keep your sign-in method secure and use an email address you control. One person should not create multiple accounts to obtain extra free credits. We may suspend accounts used for abuse or fraud.

Credits

• What credits are for. Credits are used for batch processing: 1 credit per image in Fast mode and 2 credits per image in Fine mode. You are only charged for images that are processed successfully; credits for failed images are returned automatically.
• Credit packs. Credits are sold as one-time packs. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout.
• Validity. Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Sign-up credits. New accounts with a verified email address receive 100 free credits, once per person. Sign-up credits may be withheld or removed if they are obtained through multiple accounts, disposable email addresses or other abuse.
• No cash value. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged, except for refunds described below.

Refunds

• If you have not used any credits from a pack, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing [email protected].
• If you have used some credits from a pack, contact us and we will refund the unused portion.
• When a payment is refunded, the corresponding credits are removed from your account. If a payment is disputed or charged back, the credits from that payment are removed and the account may be suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
• These terms do not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

Batch files

Batch results are available to download for 24 hours, after which uploaded images and results are deleted automatically. Please download your results within that time.

Your content

You keep all rights to the images you upload and to the results you download. See our Privacy Policy for how images are processed and stored.

Service availability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your requirements. Fair-use rate limits apply to the free tools and may change at any time. If we discontinue paid batch processing, we will give reasonable notice and refund unused purchased credits.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MiaoCut and its maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to paid features is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Open source

The MiaoCut software is open source under the MIT License. You are free to self-host it; the hosted service at miaocut.app is operated separately and these terms apply to that hosted service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Changes do not affect credits you have already purchased.
